Foreword
This book was written over the course of a year and a half between January 1999 and July 2000. It was kept in journals, notebooks, loose leafs of paper, even computer files. The poems were as scattered as my mind in that span of time. During that year and a half I lost my father, both my grandfathers, and an uncle. I lost friends. I backpacked through Europe. I became a man.
